April 28-06
Dear Ones,
We were at the abortion clinic again yesterday and as always we could sense the spiritual climate of evil in operation. It has always been very cold there as we stand outside waiting for a young couple to pass going into the clinic, or two young women to go in, one is usually a mother… It is very sad and hard to witness as our hearts break. Our prayers sound out, sometimes outwardly sometimes inwardly, we cry, praise, plead and sing unto our Lord the whole time, usually about two hours outside. We offer information and a packet of resources with truth about abortion, most refuse, very few take it, but we pray those who do will read it before going through with it. It is a huge battle ground and has opened our eyes even more to be sober in this life. We need prayer, the tool our Lord uses.
I was confronted by a girl going in yesterday, she had the look of an harlot and full of bitterness. I offered help to her and she told me to mind my own business, most of the time they say nothing to you, but walk very swiftly past. This girl was hateful with swearing and boldness, I told her I’d pray for her, and God loves her… she responded with a laughing remark and went on. Our Lord has placed a huge burden on my heart for her, and I ask for prayer for her salvation.
After side walk counseling we met together to pray some more, and then hold signs in front of Planned Parenthood. It is such an ungodly institution, encouraging immoral behavior and if a girl comes in pregnant, they point her to the abortion clinic. They must also tell them not to talk to us because the girls try to avoid even looking at us most of the time.
Well, those things are heavy on my mind this morning and I wanted to share them with you.
Some how our Lord has led us into this work and I’m very glad He has. We are waiting on Him to show us more of what to do. Our next sidewalk counseling is Tues. at eight A.M. and Thursday in front of P.P. at 3:00-4:00.. for prayer.
We are thankful for you all and so appreciate your prayers, they mean so much to us!
In His love always,
Sarah and all
