Dear Ones,
Things seem to be heating up these days as our Lord continues to stir and answer prayer for the cause of life on the streets of Duluth and is changing hearts and minds. We do see the enemy becoming more aggressive against us as a result.
Yesterday while pleading to a few mothers who were out for a smoke, a women named Jessica, who calls herself a witch, came right up to my face and began  incantations, chanting a mantra with curses against me. Michael and another rebuked her in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I looked directly at her and did the same and said “fear God”… but she was in a trance like state and didn’t seem to hear us. I didn’t want to stop pleading for the babies and tried to talk over her to the women and didn’t realize I was getting louder than I should… Mr. Tuttle came to my rescue with encouragement to come sing with the other counselors there. We sang and praised God and prayed for the girls and Jessica with prayer for her salvation.
A lot took place yesterday, one couple leaving the abortion center smiled and it seemed like she was saying yes to the question when asked regarding her keeping her baby, but we’re not sure.  We spent time with a girl named Teresa that said her sister, Diane was in the clinic for an abortion. (A few  weeks ago Diane had come for an abortion but changed her mind after looking at the information packet we had given her, this was without our knowledge,  but her mother convinced her to go back for an abortion.). We gave Teresa the gospel, pointing out scriptures. She accepted the Bible we gave her, and she did go back into the clinic with our literature to give her sister. There were fourteen that went in for an abortion but two left, several took packets of information, though some threw them into the garbage.
There were eight of us in front of P.P. and no accidents! Thank you for praying! P.P. had few customers while we were there, no one took info packets.
We don’t know the next abortion day yet for next week but will pass the information on as soon as we do.
Please pray for:
Thursday of next week in front of P.P for safety and no accidents and for the abortion day when ever it is… that girls will take the packets and read them… that many opportunities will be given to give the gospel and hearts will be changed, many will be saved.
Also a note… Mick and Michael are leaving for South Dakota next Wed. for three days or four, to help in the campaign… vote yes for life.. to ban abortions in SD… please keep this in prayer.
May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you abundantly,
lovingly in Him always,
Sarah

Dear Ones,
We praise our Lord that on Wednesday of last week the abortion clinic was not open. We did get there early and another prolife group was there, called “Survivors”they are from the University of MN. Duluth.(UMD) We stayed for two hours just incase it should open, and prayed, sang hymns and gave the gospel to a man that was very interested in what we were doing, please pray for the salvation of Mel.
Thursday was very different in front of Planed Parenthood… there was a four car collision, no one was badly injured, but two cars were totaled. The car that first crashed was driving too fast as the cars ahead slowed for the stop light. The results of all this is that on the News the next day we were blamed… saying the driver was distracted because of the protesters in front of P.P. … it was on the radio and in the News Paper. We know that accidents happen there all the time anyway, but for some reason we were blamed this time. Of course there are those that don’t like us to be there and perhaps are trying to stir trouble for us… Our Lord knows all about this. We need prayer for protection concerning this and also that no accidents will happen while we are there with our witness for truth.
Friday there were ten of us.. (some from the Survivors group and “Prolife University of WI. Superior  (UWS)”… at a Superior Public High School handing out literature with facts about developing babies and against abortion. There were at least two hundred papers handed out and we were able to give the gospel to one girl that is four months pregnant and said she wants to keep her baby… and another girl that said she didn’t believe in God but would read the Bible, “some day”.
Please pray for us this week as we go to the abortion clinic at 7:30-11:00 am Thursday. We plan to be in front of P.P. from 3-4 pm.
We are longing for the mothers to change their minds about destroying the life of their little ones. Getting information out at P.P. has changed minds and been a witness to many… please remember us and the traffic that day… also that many will take the information packets at both places.
Thank you for prayer…
lovingly in Him,
Sarah

Dear Ones,
Thursday began on a different note… Early in the morning as I prepared to leave for the abortion clinic the Lord spoke softly to my heart to pray for a miracle there… surprised I obeyed. In the car, not knowing about this, Michael prayed for a miracle there, saying as I had, that we know He is performing unseen miracles all the time there, but felt led of the Lord to ask. Then still  in the car, Leah having Psalms 86 ready to share read verse 17, “Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me. ” At that point we began to wonder if something was indeed going to happen there…. but we were very excited when Jim Tuttle, not knowing anything about this, prayed,”Lord show us a miracle today.” !!! So we rejoiced and laid all this at the feet of our Father in Heaven.  And now we do rejoice the more… a baby was saved yesterday! A couple that had gone in came out arm in arm, the girl was beaming, and said she had changed her mind! Jim Tuttle hugged them both and gave praise to the Lord. He gave them a gift and material and information and asked them to contact him. Please pray for Rose and Jack that we might be able to see them again and minister to them. We all rejoice in this wonderful “token for good” this has enlightened us a great deal… God is moving in unseen ways and He is answering prayer, moving mountains and working great wonders… seen and unseen!!!!!
We made many pleas for the babies condemned to die as the mothers went in… one girl turned and asked us if we wanted her baby… we said “YES!” but she went in anyway ignoring us. We gave the gospel to some girls, one said she didn’t believe in God… but we told her He died for her sins anyway… another asked, “what if I am Jewish?”.. we responded, “That’s alright He died for the Jews too.”All this was spoken as they made fast track for the clinic… only our Lord knows the outcome of these things! We are so glad that many girls took  packets of information!!   Nine went in,  3 left and 1 confirmed save!!!!
Michael noticed a truck pull up near him with an older man and a young girl. Thinking it was probably her dad he walked up the window and offered the packet, which the man refused. The girl got out of the car and refused the material that Michael offered to her, so he began to counsel and plea for the baby as she made her way to the clinic. The older man jumped out of the car with great anger and shoved his fist into Michael’s shoulder (not too hard) and wagged his finger saying ,”you are crossing a line.” Michael’s response was “God loves you.” and the man turned and left.
We were able to minister to a women that was raped and give her the gospel and a Bible… please pray for Lora and Bill and the little one year old boy with them. She said she wasn’t pregnant, but still  we were able to let her know that abortion is worse then rape.
It was an unusually cold October day in Duluth MN. yesterday, wind chill brought down the temps. with snow.  In front of P.P. with our witness of truth, our Lord gave us extra strength to hold tight to the signs and endure the cold (of course we dressed warm) A lady pulled up in her car and gave us all hot cocoa and some coffee… we were appreciative, it helped a great deal! We know there are many that appreciate the truth being proclaimed on the streets. The lady’s name is Ann, please pray for her. Two girls took packets of information!
A long report today, but exciting to us how God is answering prayer… THANK YOU for prayer…. how wonderful! The labor of prayer (fervent) of a righteous man does avail much!
Please continue to pray for next week, Wednesday October 18th at 7:30- 10:30 am, abortions are scheduled. Also for Thursday in front of P.P. Pray that our Lord will convict the hearts of men and women to turn from destroying life, and look to the giver of life, our Saviour, Jesus Christ! On Friday of next week, we  hope to go to a High School in Superior WI. and pass out information as we hold our signs, please pray for witnessing opportunities and the truth be made known to many.
We had many opportunities to give the gospel yesterday… please continue to pray that we will have many more. Pray that our Lord will convict hearts of sin and many will be saved.
Please pray that the girls at both locations will take the packets of information offered.
We can thank Him for answering these prayers to sweetly, He is really working wonders through them!!!!
Our Lord continue to give His richest blessings to you!
Lovingly in our Lord Jesus Christ,
Sarah

Dear Ones,

On Thursday, in front of Planned Parenthood, eight of us were holding signs as a witness for truth… Leah held the baby doll which we believe works as a strong symbol against P.P. Three took  packets of information.  A young mother pushing a stroller with her six week old baby passed by and we were able to talk with her and give the gospel. It is amazing to see the difference in the girls that have kept their babies, such a softness in their eyes and a sweet spirit about them. ( In contrast to the girls that aborted their babies, the hardness in their eyes and anger is great.) Please pray for Tiffany, Ronald and little Ronnie, for their salvation.
On Friday morning in front of the abortion clinic several took packets of information, the atmosphere seemed less hostile this time. We asked several mothers going in if they would like to see a picture of what their baby looks like at ten weeks… this brought out some responses… Twice at separate times a mother yelled “I already know, I have children at home”…. another said “I’ll do what I want to with my baby, thank you.”….  this set our hearts to sorrow for them, since they admitted to us they know and yet will destroy and murder the little one any way. We were able to talk with a couple and show them pictures of the developing baby along with trying hard to reason with them to change their minds about abortion, she was ten weeks along…. after we talked , they went in anyway… oh how we pray that they changed their minds and left without an abortion.  We continue to praise our Lord Jesus Christ in the streets and give a witness there and are confident that spiritual mountains are being moved, not seeing yet believing, we desire His worthy Name to be glorified.
Please pray for God to move in the hearts of men and women this coming Thursday, Oct. 12th  at the abortion clinic at eleven till one p.m.. also at P.P. 3-4 p.m..
Pray more will take the information packets, and that more will be willing to talk with us. We desire above all to give the gospel and see many become saved. We need wisdom from God and to be sensitive to His leading as we talk to people.
Please pray for Mike, a man that has come to talk with us several times, but when he has been drinking. We have given him the gospel more than once.
Also remember Cassie, the young girl we had helped several weeks ago , she is with her grandmother now but we would like to contact her.
In the weeks ahead abortions are scheduled are for October 18th, (Wednesday) from 7:30 to 10:00  am.. The week after that is for October 26th, (Thursday) in the morning again.
Prayer is what makes all the difference and if all this is covered in the labor of prayer, no labor will be in vain!
Once again, thank you for prayers….
Lovingly in our Dear Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ,
Sarah
