Dear Ones,
We praise our Lord that on Wednesday of last week the abortion clinic was not open. We did get there early and another prolife group was there, called “Survivors”they are from the University of MN. Duluth.(UMD) We stayed for two hours just incase it should open, and prayed, sang hymns and gave the gospel to a man that was very interested in what we were doing, please pray for the salvation of Mel.
Thursday was very different in front of Planed Parenthood… there was a four car collision, no one was badly injured, but two cars were totaled. The car that first crashed was driving too fast as the cars ahead slowed for the stop light. The results of all this is that on the News the next day we were blamed… saying the driver was distracted because of the protesters in front of P.P. … it was on the radio and in the News Paper. We know that accidents happen there all the time anyway, but for some reason we were blamed this time. Of course there are those that don’t like us to be there and perhaps are trying to stir trouble for us… Our Lord knows all about this. We need prayer for protection concerning this and also that no accidents will happen while we are there with our witness for truth.
Friday there were ten of us.. (some from the Survivors group and “Prolife University of WI. Superior (UWS)”… at a Superior Public High School handing out literature with facts about developing babies and against abortion. There were at least two hundred papers handed out and we were able to give the gospel to one girl that is four months pregnant and said she wants to keep her baby… and another girl that said she didn’t believe in God but would read the Bible, “some day”.
Please pray for us this week as we go to the abortion clinic at 7:30-11:00 am Thursday. We plan to be in front of P.P. from 3-4 pm.
We are longing for the mothers to change their minds about destroying the life of their little ones. Getting information out at P.P. has changed minds and been a witness to many… please remember us and the traffic that day… also that many will take the information packets at both places.
Thank you for prayer…
lovingly in Him,
Sarah
