Dear Ones,
On our way to the abortion clinic yesterday morning, Leah read Psalm 78 describing the tribe of Ephriam. They being equipped with bow and arrow… weapons of war, turned and ran away from the battle. They had forgotten the mighty acts of God before. We thought on this and prayed for God to have mercy on us to stand in the battle, reminding ourselves of the mighty acts He has performed and will continue to do! This was helpful to remember since 17 couples went in the abortion center today and all seemed hostile and unreceptive. No one took packets of information. One girl left but wouldn’t speak to us. We continue to lift up our voices in praise to our Lord and Saviour on the streets. We know He is working in ways that are mighty, for He is mighty and answers the prayers of His saints.
Some of us in the alley sang songs of Scripture and the Gospel to the workers that park there and go into the clinic’s back door. We pray for the workers as well, one of them is especially hostile to us and as she drove to park, swerved toward us. Please remember the workers in prayer as well… they are hardened but God can save them.
The next day that abortions are scheduled is Tuesday November 7th at 8:00-11:00 a.m. The mothers need prayer to be receptive and take the information packets, and change their minds.
Please pray we will have opportunity to give the gospel. We are now praying for more gospel tracts since we have run out and cannot replenish them yet. We are also praying for more Bibles to give out… so many don’t have a Bible, we give out New Testaments. Todd walked by and we were able to give him a Bible and encourage him to read… he has cancer in his liver, we had spoken the gospel to him before but wasn’t very receptive to talk to us this time, he needs prayer for salvation.
Thank you for praying concerning Planned Parenthood. There were no accidents this Thursday and the clinic was not very busy at all. One packet was taken but only three cars went in while we were there. We are wondering if they have changed the clinic hours since we are always there at the same time each week. Please continue to pray for no accidents for next Thursday.
Mick and Michael are still in South Dakota and are working hard there with the campaign for life. They plan to travel back on Sunday, please remember them in prayer.
Thank you for prayers… we are so encouraged, God is indeed moving through that mighty weapon!
Lovingly in our Lord Jesus Christ,
Sarah
