Standing at the gates of the Temple of Moloch, pleading with uninformed and misinformed mothers for the life of their innocent babies.

Dear Ones,
Greetings and much love sent your way! Thank you for prayers for the ministry and for us… Wow! God is moving so mightily that I dare not think too hard about it or I might burst with amazement!
There were 22 girls scheduled for an abortion on Thursday, and 3 “no show”, which we Praise God for!
 One sidewalk counselor, Matt, spoke to a man that was walking to the clinic and asked; “Sir, would you consider going in and rescuing your son or daughter?”…  the man answered, “that’s what I’m doing right now”… and later he came out holding hands with his girlfriend and smiling. Mr. Tuttle spoke to them and shook hands with the man. How we praise God for this baby saved from death!
A man came up to Leah and I and told us that he and his girlfriend had gathered the money together and made a long trip down to Snt.Paul MN., so she could have an abortion there. While walking out of the parking area a man handed them some papers, which they thought pertained to the parking lot. When they opened the papers there were pictures of aborted babies and information concerning abortion. They went on into the clinic and filled out all the forms, but when it came for her turn to go into the room for an abortion, she changed her mind, the pictures had made her realize what she was about to do. Now, 11 years later, they have a beautiful daughter. He said if it had not been for that man, they wouldn’t have her today! He told us this to encourage us to continue doing what we do! Praise God for that kind word, and we are very encouraged!
When Leah and I were in the alley and singing the gospel to some of the workers …  a few couples came out to smoke. We kept singing since the escort, Mr. Katz, went over to them and began talking so they couldn’t hear us plead for the life of the babies. They could hear us as we sang “Jesus loves the little children.” “Jesus loves me” and other songs.. one of the girls began swaying back and forth and making fun of us… but we felt led to sing so we did.
A mother that came with her daughter told us she and her husband had tried every way to persuade their daughter not to abort the baby, but she wouldn’t listen.  This mother is not typical of most that come with their daughters… often times they are very hostile and aggressively out spoken against us as we plea for the life of the innocent baby. We didn’t know what to say to this poor mother, how sad and difficult this is.
At Planned Parenthood 3 girls took material, and our signs were read by hundreds driving past, with some honking & waving and others cursing & yelling. Since the time we asked for pray that there wouldn’t be any car accidents while we are there, none have occurred! Praise God!
Abortions are scheduled for the next three Tuesdays at 8:00 a.m. This coming Tues. Mr. Tuttle will not be there so please remember to pray for our safety as well.
Our Prayer needs will be as follow:
May 1st, 8th and the 15th at the abortion clinic.
Please pray:
For mothers to change their minds about abortion.
For mothers to take the material we offer them..
That we will let God lead us in what we should say to each girl as they are walking to the abortion clinic.
That we will be able to give the gospel to many people.
That many will come to salvation.
That God will protect us and glorify His Name through this work.
 May 3rd,  10th, 17th,  24th and 31st,  in front of Planned Parenthood.
Pray that:
God will use our signs to reach the hearts and minds of many to change their minds about P.P. and abortion.
That many girls will take the materials we offer,
That we will have opportunities to give the gospel to those walking past.
That there will be no car accidents while we are there.
Thank you for prayer.. What a joy to know that God is working so mightily because of it!
In the Perfect love of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Sarah

Please remember to pray for us on Thursday!

We need prayer that God will glorify His Name as we are there for life and that the hearts of the mothers will be changed…

This Hymn has much of our “heart cry” expressed in it:

“Thou Whose Purpose is to Kindle ..sung to tune: “Jesus what a Friend for sinners”

Thou, whose purpose is to kindle: Now ignite us with Thy fire;

While the earth awaits Thy burning with Thy passion us inspire.

Overcome our sinful calmness, rouse us with redemptive shame;

Baptize with Thy fiery Spirit, crown our lives with tongues of flame.

Thou who in Thy holy gospel will that man should truly live:

Make us sense our share of failure,our tranquility forgive.

Teach us courage as we struggle in all liberating strife;

Lift the smallness of our vision by Thy own abundant life.

Thou, who still a sword delivers rather than a placid peace

With Thy sharpened word disturb us, from complacency release!

Save us now from satisfaction when we privately are free,

Yet are undisturbed in spirit by our brothers misery.

Dear Ones,
We had an interesting Good Friday, 63 people came for prayer with Mr. Tuttle at different time slots, what a blessing! It was an abortion day and about 18 girls went in, each heard the pleas from the sidewalk counselors for the life of the babies. One couple left early and told one of the counselors they “didn’t do it.” we praise the Lord for this, and believe it to be a baby saved! We gave the gospel to four different couples going in and gospel tracts to by-passers
Tuesday was another abortion day where 9 couples went in to the clinic. We learned that there was one “no show” and one cancellation. After we left that day, two Christian women went into the abortion mill to talk to some of the girls. After talking to one girl for about 40 min.s the director of the abortion mill came out and yelled at them telling them to leave or she would call the police. These girls are new at counseling (one brought her four month old baby with),  we didn’t know about this until after. They may join us on the sidewalk in the near future. We all would like to go into the mill and talk face to face with the women in there, but there is an injunction that states we cannot go past 25 feet from the gate of the building.
We plan to be back at the abortion mill on Tuesday morning April 17th.  Mr. Tuttle must be in another location for pro-life work and we will need extra prayer for protection. We noticed there is more outward aggression from people when the leadership is not there. The next week abortions are scheduled for Thursday at noon, April 26th. We are asking everyone to start praying  now for the Lord to work on the hearts of the mothers long before they get there… and perhaps never arrive because of changed hearts, and salvation of souls… what we all pray for.
We do plan to be back at the Planned Parenthood building holding signs today. We do this every Thursday and we need much prayer for this as well.
Please pray that there will be no car accidents while we are there, our signs are peaceful to communicate a witness for truth. Please pray that on these days the women will take the material offered and that God will use the signs and our witness to His glory.
Again, I could not even bear the thought of going out on the streets without the great work of prayer by His people. We know He is using these prayers powerfully.
Thank you for prayer.. may our Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you.
In His love always,
Sarah
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city. Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
