Prayer Needs

Posted by Sarah

Dearest Ones,
Your prayers are never taken lightly for this work. The Presence of God is felt very keenly, and we are able to pray, sing and worship the Lord Jesus Christ  right there on the street where wickedness abounds and murder of little babies is being performed. The area is full of evil, but we are there and worshiping our Saviour, giving out the gospel and pleading for the lives of the unborn. This could never be done without the prayers of the saints of God!
Fourteen went in for an abortion this past Thursday, three or more took the materials we offered. We made gentle pleas for the life of their babies which seem to unheeded, but we have learned that some do change their minds and leave without us knowing. We gave the gospel to a few people, please pray for Ruth, one lady we gave the gospel to that seemed especially touched.
We need prayer about the pro-life float at the Fourth of July Parade, Gospel tracts that will be passed out to hundreds. Please pray for the salvation of many there.
Please pray about next Thursday at 12:00 noon when abortions are scheduled, that hearts and minds will be changed and babies will be saved. That the gospel witness will be strong and some might be saved. On the same day we need prayer as well for the witness of truth in front of Planned Parenthood from 3:00-4:00 p.m. for no car accidents and that girls will take the material we offer them.
Thank you and may our Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you!
Lovingly in our Lord,
Sarah

Dearest Ones,

Last week a woman came out of the abortion center just to tell us that she did not have to have an abortion because she miscarried. She was so relieved, (which reveals what some women think about having an abortion). We used this opportunity to share the gospel with her. She left with a handful of pro-life literature and a gospel tract. We continue to plea for the lives of the unborn to the parents as they go into the clinic for an abortion. 14 went in for an abortion, we do not know about changed minds but God knows. Our praise to the Lord Jesus Christ continues there in front of the abortion clinic, with Hymns, scripture and prayer on the streets…. May Jesus Christ be praised always and everywhere! We gave out many gospel tracts as well.

Thursday we held signs for a witness of truth against Planned Parenthood. There weren’t any car accidents but some close calls…. thank you for praying about this!

Please pray about the Pro-Life float that we plan for the fourth of July Parade. We plan a simple float this year with banners that say; “Life beginning at conception is a gift from God” We plan to hand out pro-life material and gospel tracts to the crowd.

The Next abortion day is scheduled Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Often, the later hour brings more hostile people but more opportunities to give the gospel. We plan to be in front of P.P. at 3:00-4:00, this will be a long day for us. Please pray that we might give the gospel, for changed minds and hearts, and that the mothers will take the Pro-Life material offered to them.

With many thanks for prayer,

In our Saviour’s love, Sarah

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting
upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s
children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember
his commandments to do them.
Psalm 103:17-18

Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name;
make known among the nations what He has done.
Psalms 105:1

Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
Psalms 105:4

Dearest Ones,
We were able to sing, pray, and read Scripture allot while on the street in front of the abortion clinic. We gave out many gospel tracts and had a sense of the powerful presence of God. There were 12 that came for an abortion, and a few took the material.  There were some parents of a girl going in and I gave them the material with beautiful pictures of developing babies. They threw them down on the pavement after looking and walked in, but we are glad they saw them. We never know how many might leave, we pray that many will.
We got an extended opportunity to share with a man who brought a woman to the abortion center. He stayed in the car as we knelt down on the sidewalk and talked with him.  He took literature and studied the graphic pictures we showed him. We also shared the Gospel of Christ—pray for his salvation and change of heart about abortion.
Today the planned trip to Virginia MN. and in front of Planned Parenthood had to be canceled due to dangerous weather. We might yet be in front of P.P. in Duluth, weather permitting.
Please begin even now to pray about the next abortion day, Friday at 8:00 A.M. and Thursday in front of P.P. in Duluth at 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Your prayers are making a difference, we consider all that are praying a vital part of this work.
lovingly in our Lord Jesus Christ,
Sarah
