A mother changed her mind about abortion today!

Dearest Ones,
With joy and a grateful heart to God I would like to report that a mother changed her mind about abortion today! Pamela just started her college classes and being 8 wk.s pregnant, feeling sick and thinking a baby would interfere with her plans for collage, was planing to make an appointment to have an abortion. The Lord brought her to us somehow, and very gently we showed her the pictures of an 8 week old baby in the womb, and then an aborted baby picture. We pointed out to her that; before she was in the womb of her mother, God knew her, and knows her baby… the eye and hair color also the shape of his face, ears and nose. Pamela gave us her phone number and address… please pray for a good follow up and for her salvation.
There were 9 girls that went in for an abortion today and all heard the plea for their baby’s life.  One mother came out for a smoke with her friend, and we prayed out loud for them, which seemed to effect them because they walked over to one sidewalk counselor and took material. The friend was very touched by what she saw and heard but they went back in anyway. There was another girl that came out and spoke angrily to a sidewalk counselor, trying to justify her friends abortion. When she turned to go back into the building, she was told that we would pray for her and she yelled, “No, don’t pray for me!”
Prayer Needs:
Thursday August 30, from 3-4 p.m. in front of Planned Parenthood in Duluth MN.

The next abortion day scheduled in Duluth MN.– Friday September 7th at 7:30 a.m.

Pray for changed hearts and minds, materials to be taken and read, and for opportunities to give the gospel and souls to be saved, also for no car accidents .
Next week Thursday, Sept. 6th, we plan to go to Virginia MN. and pass out material at an intersection near the Planned.Parenthood, after that go back to Duluth to hold signs with a witness for truth.

“choice is choice, my friend”..babies do not choose to die!

Dearest Ones,
On Thursday in front of Planned Parenthood, a person from the pro-death camp came about ten minutes before we had to leave, and held a sign that said; “get your laws off my body, old man” on it was an arrow pointing to Mr. Hogan; he and his wife come Thursdays to hold signs and both in their upper 70’s. We showed to her a graphic picture of an aborted baby, and asked her about it; she responded; “choice is choice, my friend.. and… that looks like health care to me.” Her name is Auborn, we are praying for her… she says she will come back next week, (the young man from last week didn’t show up.) It was drizzling out, and slippery on the road, but no car accidents! Praise God!
 
 17 went in for an abortion on Friday; all of them heard the plea for their babies. We were in much prayer most of the time that we were there, we sang praises and hymns, read the Bible and worshiped the Lord. We were able to give the gospel to Keith and Mykaya… they listened intently and wanted a New Testament… I told them if they read it and want a complete Bible, to ask the next time they see us, ( we see them from time to time on the streets.) Several gospel tracts were passed out but not many wanted to talk. A couple of angry people came up to us saying that, they did not want us in their Public Parking ramp… Mr. Tuttle told them gently that we will respect their request, even though we have a legal right to be there.
 
Tina Welch, the owner of the abortion building was spotted sitting on the ledge of the third floor window, staring at us. Michael held up his Bible for her to see.. we all turned and looked at her and she quickly got up and closed the shade, so we prayed for her right away. This women conducts the affairs to make it possible for abortions to happen there… please pray for her.
 
The next abortion day is Tuesday August 28th… please pray for the salvation of many and babies to be saved from the cruel brutality of abortion. Pray for softened hearts and minds that will listen to the truth… God is able to soften them. Pray that material offered will be taken and read.
 
Please remember Thursday August 30th, as we hold signs again at P.P.  that the witness of truth will be strong and pierce the hearts and minds of those that are indifferent and hard of heart… and for no car accidents.

Friday we witnessed to a man (Terry) who claimed to be Christian but believed we had no right to talk to women seeking abortion. A challenge we often hear from those in the church.  He had much head knowledge… boasted of spiritual pedigree with several family members in pastoral ministry but his ungodly language betrayed his heart.  Another sidewalk counseling encounter on Friday was with a couple that we talked with who had never heard the creation story, of the Garden of Eden nor of Christ’s redemptive work. We were able to read the whole first chapter of Genesis to her and share something of the gospel before her boyfriend literally pulled her away. She took some printed gospel material before leaving.
There were 17 that came for an abortion at the Building for Women in Duluth MN., this building is a meeting place for witches and sodomites as well. We sang Hymns of praise to our Lord Jesus Christ where darkness abounds, We gave out the gospel and begged for the lives of the unborn, this is what God has called us to do.

We were confronted by an angry man Thursday in front of PP because of a graphic picture. He took the sign out of Michael’s hand and stood on it to keep us from showing the truth. He promised to be back and to hinder our witness. Pray that we will be prepared in spirit and for no car accidents while we are there.

Please remember us in prayer this week. We have been under harsh attacks from the enemy. The sidewalk counselors are all experiencing attacks on their families and personally. This work is right on the front lines of the battle ground… without the prayers of the saints we will have a hard time of it.

We plan to be at Planned Parenthood Aug. 23,Thursday at 3-4 p.m. and at the abortion mill on Aug.24, Friday 7:30 a.m. Pray for the gospel to be given and souls to be saved. Pray that the mothers will take the material we offer and change their minds about abortion.

Dearest Ones,
At the abortion clinic today we sang Hymns, prayed, praised the Lord and read Scripture for two hours, along with giving out gospel tracts and pleading for the lives of the unborn as the 10 parents rushed into the clinic. We then were so blessed with the power of God that it is difficult to describe what happened. Together our group of sidewalk counselors worshiped our Saviour and prayed for His mercy on the unborn and the parents there in the building. We prayed for the end of abortion, we prayed for mercy, for salvation of souls and for God to destroy the works of darkness; as we did so it seemed like an ocean of His love just swept over us all and some fell to their knees and prayed again… . When it was time to leave, we all agreed that even though we didn’t know what it was, God was doing something powerful and wonderful through the prayers and working of His saints.
Every Thursday we plan to be in front of Planned Parenthood in Duluth MN. from  3:00-4:00 p.m. with signs of truth against abortion.Please pray for hearts to soften and listen to the truth, for girls leaving P.P. to take the material offered, and that no car accidents will occur during this time.
Next week in Duluth; abortions are scheduled for Friday at 8:00 a.m. please pray for mothers to change their minds about abortion and for the salvation of souls. We always hope for opportunities to give the gospel, please pray for this as well.
