Dearest Ones,
The abortion clinic was open last Tuesday. Nine couples went in and 2 left, but we do not know if they had changed their minds. One young mother stopped and talked to some of the sidewalk counselors. As she listened and seemed to be considering what was being said, her boyfriend grabbed her coat at the shoulders and pulled her away. They went into the clinic.
We gave out allot of gospel tracts and were able to witness to a young man who said he was saved 2 months ago.. please pray for him.
There were two new sidewalk counselors, Leslie and Jenny. They were very sobered when they saw the callousness and indifference of the mothers going in. For instance; when we told a young mother going in for an abortion that her baby is a living person she said; “I don’t care”.
Please pray for Sam & Leslie and Mark & Jenny, new couples with young children that are getting involved in the Pro-Life work. We know from experience that attacks from the enemy’s camp is severe upon those doing this work. We were very surprised ourselves at first… But Our God is able to deliver us and keep us from being discouraged and defeated through our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him Forever!
The next abortion day is scheduled for Monday, November 12th starting at 8:00. We plan to be there from 7:30-10:00 a.m. since that is when they first come in. Please pray for hearts and minds to change. For opportunities to give the gospel and souls to be saved.
Next Thursday at 10:00 a.m. we plan to start a street witness in Duluth… worshiping the Lord on the streets and giving the gospel. (We are trying to get a Bible study for women going as well but no one has showed up for it yet.) Please pray for us as we look to the Lord for direction in all this.
Please remember us in front of Planned Parenthood in Duluth at 2:30 until 3:30 p.m.every Thursday..(but not on Thanksgiving Day).
Yesterday while we were holding signs in front of P.P. a man parked his truck and came over to let us know that his daughter, Vivian aborted his first grandchild because of the influence of P.P. . He was very broken up as he spoke to us and said he named the child “Danny” because he was sure it was a boy.The abortion has devastated his daughter. We gave him information of a post-abortive group, meeting in Duluth and prayed for him. Please pray for this brother in the Lord, Tom and daughter Vivian.
The new Pro-Life group will be holding signs at Planned Parenthood in Duluth every Monday at 1:30 p.m. please remember them as well.
