Dearest Ones,
Last Friday ten couples went into the “Building for Women” in Duluth MN. to have an abortion. Outside the building we prayed for wisdom and help to say what He would have us say to these women and for Him to give them a change of heart. With the help of God we were able to give a strong plea for the life of each baby to each women going in. We did see one mother leave early and we are very hopeful that she couldn’t go through with allowing her baby to be ripped apart and killed by the brutal hands of those that do abortions there. Brutal may not be a strong enough word that describes abortion.
Prayer Needs:
This Friday morning, May 30th, abortions are scheduled, pray for God to move in the hearts of the mothers. We know it is only He that can change the heart and mind. Please pray that they will take the material we offer and read it.
Please pray for the gospel to be given by the sidewalk counselors and that souls might be saved. Last week we gave the gospel to two young men at different times of the day, Gary and William. Both seemed interested and listened intently. Pray for their salvation. We were able to hand out several tracts and give away one Bible, please pray for those that received them.
We are planning a, “Hundred mile walk for life” with groups of people walking 5 miles each in different groups. We plan to walk to the Building for Women where we will pray for abortions to stop and for the Building for Women to be shut down. We would love to see a thousand people join us, please pray for this.
We have started a Family Value Survey in Duluth MN. which gives us an opportunity to learn what people think about Planned Parenthood. We hope this will give us an opportunity to expose P.P and the Building for Women. We hope above all for this to open a way to give the gospel to people
Remember the dear Yoder Family every Wednesday in Kansas City MO., they are faithful soldiers of the cross. They plead for the lives of the unborn and give the gospel at the abortion clinic. Please pray for changed hearts and the salvation of souls.
Every Thursday we plan to hold signs on the streets against “Health Partners” and Planned Parenthood. Please pray for material to be taken and the gospel to be given.
Please pray for the salvation of Tina Welsh, the Director of the clinic. Pray for the salvation of Lori Casey, assistant director soon replacing Tina Welsh . Pray for the salvation of Mr. and Mrs. Katz and Mr. Anderson, they escort the women into the building of death.
Thank you for praying for these many needs, we can see the work of God through them.
In His Love,
Sarah
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:13-29)
