Dearest Ones,
We rejoice again because another couple changed their minds this past Tuesday!
We know it is our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ that is actually changing the hearts and minds of these precious mothers and fathers. All glory be to His Holy Name! Matt stayed after sidewalk counseling time and saw the couple come out of the building, he asked them if they had changed their minds about having the abortion, and they said, YES! Praise God! He also said that a few more couples left early but he was unable to speak with them! We don’t know for certain about them but are hopeful that they too were leaving because of a heart change.
Really the time in front of the Building For Women in Duluth Mn. was filled with praises to our Lord God, Jesus Christ! There was much hostility in the atmosphere that morning. About 8 drunken people came over to us making lewd comments and then sitting near where we were standing. They began to get very loud and offensive, Michael read the Scriptures and we sang Hymns, but this did not seem to affect them and they stayed. Finally we prayed together for God to bind the spiritual forces of darkness and send them away. Just as soon as we prayed, they got up and left! Praise God! One man came over and spoke to Michael and Josh. . . he blasphemed and said the gospel of John was “hog wash” He was very arrogant.
Each of the 11 mothers going into the Building for Women for an abortion heard the cry of mercy on their baby. We spoke Scripture to them and asked them to fear God. One man walking with a girl into the Building was very, very, vile in his words and told us his god has horns. Later on, a car passed by and threw a full half can of coke at Jim, but missed.
Despite it all, we praised God with all our hearts and worshiped Him right there on the streets! His name was exalted and glorified by His own people in a very dark area of Duluth MN.
Please continue to pray for this important and necessary work. God has called us out and we go, we are simply obeying Him. Our lives are in His hands and we trust in Him completely. Because of the elections and the out-come, we may well be facing more hostility. Pray for us.
Prayer needs:
We had to cancel Thursday this week due to rain, but please keep remembering us on Thursdays at the Planned Parenthood in Duluth MN. we plan to be there every time that we can to hold signs and expose them. They are involved in the evil practice of abortion and teaching the youth immoral things.
Please pray for the Yoder family, they are faithful warriors going to Kansas City Mo. every week to plead for the unborn people who are being brought into the abortion clinic there. Pray for protection and blessing, and for souls to be saved as they give the gospel.
Please pray for the mothers and fathers planning to destroy the lives of their unborn next Tues, November 11, 2008. Pray that we might speak the Scriptures to them and give the gospel.
