Here is my point, if you empower somebody to write legislation or pass laws that take the life of an innocent human being in the womb or nearly out of the womb you are just as guilty as the one you empowered, according to God. God says if you receive little children in His name you receive Him; God says whatever you did to the least of them you did it to me… and many other passages. Now why would you be held accountable for someone else’s ability to choose whether to kill the baby or let the baby live. Answer is very simple. God says in His Royal law, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”…. & if you even hate another human being you are guilty of murder (imagine the actual act is how much worse)… Let’s look at these arguments or examples. Example 1: Let us say your friend wants to kill someone with a high-powered rifle, which he cannot get. You get him the rifle but don’t do the killing. Your friend is caught, there is a trial and the fact comes out that you purchased only the rifle for him. Would you be held as an accessory? Of course, you would! When we vote politicians in who choose abortion of a helpless babe, we give him that, “high-powered” rifle. Do you think the God who said whosoever looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her is dumb or insensitive? We know God is infinitely more powerful and wise! Example 2: The politician who authorizes killing of human babies what if one day he was to authorize your killing by your neighbors, would he still have your vote? This is where Jesus’ Royal law comes in play, “whatever you would have other men do unto you do unto them”. Why is it your life is important to you and you would do everything to preserve it but not the life of the unborn? Example 3: What if they had killed you at 4 year of age instead of trying to kill you now? Would you feel less pain or less anguish at 4 years of age? Ans. No! In like manner just cause a baby can’t speak doesn’t mean he can’t feel! When the baby is out of the womb, he will cry if you pinch him (in fact they cry and laugh in the womb…)! Read what John the Baptist did while in Elizabeth’s Womb. Example 4: Some might say they are not human in the womb. I don’t know of any woman giving birth to a dog or a cat or a cow. If that is not human in the woman’s womb what is it when it looks like a human, breathes like a human, feels like you would feel, eats like a human when on its own out of the womb, etc. Example 5: What about cases of rape or incest? Let’s assume my mother (that is not the case at all and I am not trying to insult my deceased and blessed mother, but just for the sake of argument…) my mother was a victim of one of these two sins and she gave birth to me but she hid the fact for till 20 years after I was born. One day at the dinner table in front of numerous other family members she reveals that I am an offspring of either rape or incest? Can my family members grab a knife and try to kill me? Would it be justified? NO!!! So why kill an innocent baby? Example 6: Is it right to kill a twenty-year old man because he is dumb and cannot speak? What if he is also one who could not hear you coming to kill him and was in a wheelchair and could not get away? Not one or all of those reasons in a human would be valid, but they are in the case of a baby in the womb. The baby cannot speak, cannot run so I suppose it would be okay? What if you were the handicapped person would you want to live or meet your Maker immediately? Most of try to prolong our lives as much as possible. I bet you would get medical treatment when you are seriously ill, I am willing to say with a good measure of confidence that you would want medical treatment if you had a heart attack, a stroke or any other life threatening ailment. Question: What makes you “more special” than the baby? You aren’t entirely helpless. You can go to court, you can fight for your rights, and you can pick up a gun and defend yourself.... What if one day those rights are taken away from you? Would killing you be justified? Of course not! Murder is taking the unauthorized life of another human being for which there is no Moral justification. If I could add one more point to this debate in light of the scriptures. Where would the world be today without Moses, Jeremiah, David, and most importantly Jesus? How do you know God wasn’t going to send us a deliverer for some human disease but the child God had in mind we end up aborting? Something to think about isn’t it? Also how do you justify partial & full term abortions? Your eyes can’t be that blind to a human baby crying in front of you? If one is under grace does he do less or more? Yet I knew both times that such a choice would be detrimental not only to their amazing potential, but to the state of my soul as well. It amazes me how much justification and defense I encounter from the (sadly) many women I know who've terminated their pregnancies-----yet how not one can argue with my logic of why I didn't: "If the baby had a heartbeat by the time I learned I was pregnant; didn't they have a soul also? How is my place to decide what becomes of that heartbeat and soul?" I am sincerely grateful for this publication, and have saved it as a favorite.
